About bigsaving.co.nz
Bigsaving.co.nz is a not-for-profit initiative to support businesses during these difficult economic times. By bringing together hardworking businesses and conscientious New Zealanders, for a mutually beneficial outcome.
Covid-19’s impact to the New Zealand economy has been devastating. Tourism which accounts for 10% of New Zealand’s GDP has come to a complete stop, and so have many industries that rely on international tourists.
After multiple lockdowns, many kiwi businesses are struggling to keep their doors open and are having to cut costs and let staff go in order to continue operating.
As people lose jobs, tighten their expenditure and get more selective in their spending; New Zealand’s economy will “hurt” for a little while. This is what sparked the idea for bigsaving.co.nz.
bigsaving.co.nz is helping to bring together hardworking businesses and conscientious New Zealanders, for a mutually beneficial outcome.
Bigsaving.co.nz allows businesses to list vouchers and coupons, the concept being that businesses can increase their cashflow by offering a ‘big saving’ to consumers who will be more inclined to take up offers they see as bargains.
bigsaving.co.nz gives business the ability to forgo some margin to attract customers and maintain cashflow. Customers are encouraged to spend knowing they are getting a good deal which they may not get otherwise and are helping the business survive these difficult economic times.
Bigsaving.co.nz is a complimentary platform from Ahura Consulting with the sole purpose of providing a platform to help businesses generate cashflow by encouraging people to visit their business in these challenging economic times.
While other couponing platforms exist, bigsaving.co.nz is not-for-profit, and therefore unlike other platforms, allows businesses to list their deals COMPLETELY FREE, this means no listing fees from us, the business only has a small transaction fee charged by their payment processing provider (Banks, Online gateway providers), staying true to our vision of helping kiwi businesses during these difficult times.
